EGS ASSOCIATES, INC

EGS Associatess, Inc. is a geotechnical engineering consulting firm primarily involved in soil/rock mechanics, foundation engineering, laboratory and in-situ testing, geotechnical evaluations and the preparation of reports providing recommendations for foundation design and guidelines for earthwork.

The firm's capabilities include retaining wall designs, sheeting/shoring designs, bulkhead designs, and construction monitoring/field testing, during installation of shallow and deep foundations, pipelines, tunnels and earthwork preparation.

The firm's personnel is experienced in conducting condition surveys of existing foundations and shore protection structures.

As an MBE/ESBE certified firm, EGS can assist clients whose state and federally funded projects require fulfillment of certain goals.

The firm was incorporated in 1980.  As a member of ASFE Professional Firms Practicing in the Geosciences, EGS participated in periodic firm-wide and report peer reviews.
